What's more frustrating than when you have a vision, but can't find what you're looking for in the store or, if you do find the perfect ensemble, you can't find the fit that will flatter your figure?

When I am approached by a client, my entire goal is to make sure the she gets her dream apparel, not mine. Your clothing should be as unique as you are, hence the name Yournique Designs. I do offer designer inspired or custom creations; however, I will not duplicate other designers work - because you're so much more than a copy. You're unique. Yournique.

I am inspired by designers like Coco Chanel, Bob Mackie, Versace, and Alexander Mc Queen, but I'm also intrigued by fashion from the 1920s and 1800s. I have years of experience designing wedding gowns, formal dresses, custom cocktail wear, and even more for my local customers. I am now offering this service to customers all over the USA.  

I have more than 30 years sewing experience. At age 20, as a single mother, raising my daughter, was my motivation to start my own business while working for my mother's bridal and formal wear store. In 1992, I opened my first boutique in College Park, Georgia. The store was named Yournique Dolls after my daughter Yournesha. There I specialized in creative clothing for girls.

In 1993, I married the love of my life, became a stay-at-home mom, and relocated my business to my home, changing the name to Yournique Designs. I can create just about anything that can be sewn with a needle and thread, including menswear and drapery. I am committed to helping you create your dream apparel. I listen to your needs and desires, brainstorm with you to make your ideas even more special, and deliver a quality product in a reasonable timeframe.
